I spent half an hour on the phone trying to get my maid who can barely speak english to try to retrieve an email from my laptop. OMG. It was so painful having to describe the entire process to her without using words like "screen", "keyboard", "touchpad" and "cursor". WHAT A PAIN and in the end, we did get to the right email but she didn't read the correct line to me. Sighhh life's not always on my side I suppose.

Anyways I met with Dr Chng, the academic advisor for accountancy, today. Yess it's CK the crazy prof who sets the most difficult exam questions. Well I sent him an email previously asking him about graudation-related stuff and we subsequently decided to meet and discuss things. It was really helpful talking to him cus well, it made sense hearing things from someone knows. I'm really glad I took the initiative to ask him for guidance. Although I'm still undecided about what I want to do about my future, it definitely put things in perspective.

My day got even better cus my classmate told me he likes the way I dress :)) HAHA sorry I am so obnoxious but this is my blog so that's just too bad.

Okay toodles I gotta go be less of a lazybummer.

Oh wait, I need to blog one more thing. Love and I had a heated discussion over what is considered knowledge omggg what is philosophy doing to our lives???

Welll it's really good to take a breather after racing to meet deadlines. I watched so much teevee I feel so happy now :)))) HAHA yes I have sinned.

Anyways I'm finally done with my tax project+presentation and philosophy assignment omggg. I FEEL LIBERATED :) Okay Tuesday (i.e. yesterday) was pure madness cus we were editing our report+presentation right up to the very last minute literally. But, twas a job well done IMO :)) Philo assignment on the other hand was a very different story aikes! My submission was at 5pm and I only started at 2pm srsly FAIL. Ohwell :)

Yawns I'm so sleepy! Can't wait to see MM tomorrow hehe :)

I am sooooooo tired! Went back to school (yes on a Sunday morning) and had an absolutely FML kinda morning.

But but, had hotcakes and we managed to conjure our tax project after a day of hard work. Whoopeee! :) It's still not done but zzzz no one has anymore energy to do anyth aikes!

Well had a busy but good weekend :) Caught This Is It which was damn awesome!!






Disclaimer: I was not an MJ fan before watching the show. Like I know he's talented and tonnes of people adore him but I wasn't that into his music. But yess the show was so damn good it's like a concert without the moshing and "live" factor. AWESOMEEE stuff I can understand why he's truly the King of Pop! It's a real pity he's gone though sigh.

Alrightyyy back to The Real World: Taxation. :C

I've been uploading long overdue photos from our month-long road tripping. It was pretty much inspired by Auds who started uploading those photos recently. Was really fatigued after I got back from US that I couldn't bring myself to even look at the photos. But after Auds triggered the nostalgia in me, I started to revisit America pictorially. The memories of those trips, stupid conversations we had and the songs we listened to all came back to me.




Damn, I am lucky.

I feel so bored writing my philosophy essay I'm sure the marker will feel the same when he reads it.

Sorry for the hiatus in blogging. I've been kinda lazy to take photos/upload them. Plus, besides projects and school, I'm not really sure what else I've been busy with yikes!

Welllll finally wore my prized jersey necklace to school today. I like it more and more, hehe but I wanna make it even thicker like this. Chanced upon it after I got home today hehee looks interesting.










Pity the studs aren't obvious in the photos. Wasn't smart when I used black studs on black jersey! Anyways Sara and Love thinks that it doesn't look handmade (ie. craftwork) heheeee happy! Plus mumsie asked me about it tooo. Okayy sorry I should calm down hehee.

Had some fun taking these pictures hehee. Especially with the mask/thing-to-cover-your-eyes (what are those things called??). And the skirt kinda turned out nicely too yipeee was regretting getting it.

Spent the weekend in class, dinner dates, project meeting and attending Fish's 21st - which was probably one of the better part of the weekend.




Oops I conveniently took this off facebook. Twas good meeting up with Fish, Yilong & Yaya :)) Fish looks so pretty in the photos although the picture doesn't quite do the dress justice hehee. Oh and we played charades at her place which made me miss SEP! Yilong also showed me this omggg HILARIOUS!

Many thoughts let's do this in point form

1. Studies have shown that the music playing in retail shops affect sales. Basically they're saying that good music induces people to buy more stuff. THIS IS SO TRUE. Every time I went shopping in the States, I will always hear Ladyhawke singing "My Delirium". What a song, seriously.

2. Finally worked on my Urban Renewal studded jersey necklace for the past few days. Good job waisy. :)) It's semi-done, but think I'm still gonna fix it a little more. So happyyy will upload pictures when I wear it! Mine's in black though.



3. I have been obsessed with a HK drama serial it's frankly quite disturbing. But it's really nice (and bitchy, as George would know). Hehe I'm done with it though, finally.

4. We celebrated XIII on Tuesday :)) Modesto's was great! Caught the movie Surrogates which was pretty good. The idea of surrogates is quite crazy actually yikes!



5. I really really dislike modern pop. :C Maybe I'm getting old, but everything just sounds so trashy now. For example Jason Derulo sampling Imogen Heap in his song "Whatcha Say". Like whaaat? The only good part of the song was the sampling yikes.

6. Caught (500) Days of Summer finally! :) Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks much better now as compared to his days in 10 Things I Hate About You. But omg Zooey Deschanel is such a cutie!

Well the week is finally over. YAY :) It's been pretty crappy trying to meet deadlines. But oh well it's the weekend now, and I can finally enjoy a proper weekend wheee!

Hung out with lei today near her place at North Point. Hahaa our sekret picnic plan failed miserably cus I was a PIG who couldn't wake up yikes! As always, it was great catching up :)) Sigh but I ended up buying two pairs of shoes though I didn't intend to spend. Yes more shoes :( I'm such a sinner yikes!

Okay I'm so tired I'm gonna crash yawns. Can't wait for tomorrow! :))

Took a walk to get some fresh air just now. Ended up in a park that I used to go when I was young and kinda brought back some memories.

I hung out at this park with friend K a couple of times, and of course some other places too. We would meet at the strangest times, like random 2am or some hot sunny afternoon just to talk cock. We're not BFFs who spend loads of time together, but occasionally we meet up.

There was one night we agreed to meet at this park and race to see who would get there first. I half-ran there and K ended up taking a cab. It's kinda funny thinking about it in retrospect.

Recalling those times made me miss friend K. As the number of years we knew each other increased, the distance between us grew as well. It's really a pity because K has been a real great friend to me. Or at least had been. I can vividly recall times when I really needed someone and K was there. Regrettably the reverse is not so true; I wasn't a friend like K has been to me.

Dear friend K, I am really glad I met you :) Sorry that I let the distance between us grow, but I hope this will change. Thanks for everything, xoxo.

If you ever have problems staying up, I've got a suggestion. Fish out the old retainers you haven't worn in ages and put them on.

Speaking of Tuesday, I had a spontaneous day out which turned out to be awesome, like all things spontaneous are always awesome. Caught Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs it was so cuteeee! :) Was a little apprehensive initially (haha) but you gotta catch it in 3D seriously. :D



Well I've been having problems with my eyes lately. It's too sensitive and too dry yikes! Think it's about time to get a new pair of contacts.. or lasik? Haha well I'm kinda contemplating getting new glasses + contacts or lasik to save the trouble (but not so kind on the pocket $_$). Mmmm HOWS??

I am evolving into a pig. SERIOUSLY omg I am no exaggerating I have no idea what happened. I sleep and eat as if I have been deprived for 200 years yikess! Like in the past week, I think I fell asleep on Love like thrice. Not on the phone but like physically (!!). So outrageous and embarrassing cus I refuse to do anything but zzzzz. That's not all omg! I have had supper twice this week. Not a light supper, like dinner-supper, except I've already had dinner. :| And I've been snacking like freak alot shuckss!

I have a midterm on Saturday 6-8pm CRIESSSS school sucks srsly. Whatever happened to a five day work week? I mean it kinda sucks to have class on Saturday morning but at least that's morning. It's so insane la to have a midterm on a Saturday evening. FREAKSSSS!

There was a story in the Straits Times today regarding an experiment conducted in Singapore. Basically a pair of actor/actress went to three places and they started to have a "lovers' fight". So what they were trying to observe was whether Singaporeans will interfere. At some point the guy hits and pulls the girl's hair. But guess what, people didn't care. They stood around to watch but didn't stop him. YIKES I won't say I'm shocked but it is pretty appalling+warped. We Singaporeans gotta buck up seriously..

I hate to archive, but yes September is over. To welcome the new month, here are two pictures from LB which I kinda liked







The first one is awesome. I'm not a fan of the shoulder pads trend that is raging now but the red jumpsuit and the golds are just so yummy. For the second, it's the clear blue sky + pretty self-made dress + red case. WHY are some people so gorgeous?

Had supper with Love yesterday which was OMG sinful. Hehee but haven't had supper since forever, so that was good! I am such a slug it is so horrid. I have like a huge sleep debt or something idkk I can't seem to stay awake anymore! :(

Installed Live Messenger (i.e. MSN) on my phone yesterday. GOSH I am smarter than my phone already! I'm so happy with it cus it really relieves boredom during lectures. The drawback is it distracts me from the lesson all together.

I'm hungry again.... (!!)
